Position Summary:  Looking for an experienced Paper and Packaging Specialist to help lead our growing company, our specialist will work directly with Outside Sales Representative, Customers and Suppliers. You will be responsible for developing sales, establishing long term working relationships with customers and suppliers providing excellent personal service.

Will Schedules sales calls and submits reports of sales activities. Identifies prospective customers, order and maintain inventories and compiles information on competitive products and competition. Sustained record of sales achievement and complete knowledge of the organization's policies, products and/or services characterizing this position. Telecommuting and state-wide travel will be required. Work requires a willingness to work flexible schedule and occasional weekends, evenings, early mornings. Compensation: Salary, fuel allowance, Cell phone and Laptop provided.

Set objectives:

  • Building sales thru Peddler’ Son sales representatives with competitively priced product lines.
  • Working in the field to develop sales relationships utilizing products that Peddler’s Son can supply.
  • Working on existing customers thru sales representatives and new leads provided by the company.
  • Interacting with high skilled product and sales manager and sales team to develop plans customized for Peddlers Son.
  • Ensures consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning, deployment and identifies objectives, strategies and action to improve short-and long-term sales earnings. 
  • Using all marketing tolls provided by Peddlers Son to help the salespeople maximize their potential.
  • At the beginning of each month, review with each salesperson to establish realistic sales objectives for the month and action plan.
  • Keeping face-to-face contact with the salespeople and you must stay current on financial data and inventory.

 

Requirements

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Prior paper goods & packaging sales experience is mandatory.
  • Those lacking sales and/or industry experience should have a 4-year college degree or at least 2 years sales experience. 
  • Strong drive, work ethic, and high motivation to succeed are mandatory.
  • An ability to develop and maintain relationships with your business contacts. Our most successful reps develop outstanding relationships with their customer base.
