Job Description
The job of General Maintenance is to provide maintenance and cleaning services as needed and/or assigned; assisting in a wide variety of maintenance activities; addressing immediate operational and/or safety concerns; assisting skilled trades; and ensuring that tools, materials and vehicles are maintained in good working order and are available at job site when needed along with a little house keeping.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesdays (start times may vary 6am to 7am)
Essential Functions of General Maintenance: The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Clean and maintain interior and exterior of facility

Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use

Move waste from facility to dumpsters

Abide by all the safety-training guidelines and operate within SOP stated in the Peddler’s Son Safety Manual

Complete daily logs
-
Keep and maintain inventory of materials and supplies
Non-essential Job Functions

Facility Sanitation will operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs)
-
All Employees support and uphold the HAZARD ANALYSIS CRITICAL CONTROL POINTS (HACCP)
Requirements

Must have High school diploma or GED ( must be able to read and do simple math)

Must have a valid Arizona driver’s license

Must be self-motivated, organized and have excellent communication skills
-
Must be able to walk considerable distances in the facility during the course of his or her work
-
Must be able to lift and raise or lower objects from one level to another regularly during the shift
-
Must be able to Pull or Push exerting force up to a certain number of pounds on a regular basis so that the object is moved to or away from the employee
-
Must be able to carry on a regular basis, to carry objects in his or her arms or on the shoulder(s)
-
Must be able to grasp regularly picking up objects with fingers
-
Must be able to reach regularly; required to use the hands and arms to reach for objects
-
Stooping and Crouching required to bend forward by bending at the waist or by bending legs and spine.
